ABOUT YOUR COACH

Let me tell you a bit about my journey…

As a high-achieving Black woman, I was taught to be the best, show no weakness, and keep pushing no matter the cost.

My perfectionist part kept me achieving.

My over-functioning part kept me proving my worth in relationships.

My people-pleasing part kept me shrinking to accommodate others.

And honestly? I thought that was normal. It was how we were supposed to show up for others and in our careers.

For a while it worked. Until the cost was me.

These patterns helped me succeed but eventually left me feeling disconnected from my body, my truth, and who I wanted to be.

The voice saying "work twice as hard"? Inherited.

The guilt around resting or taking a break? Handed down.

The belief that asking for help equals inadequacy? A family recipe I never asked to learn. (I don't even like cooking!)

That realization changed everything.

As a licensed mental health therapist, certified in EMDR therapy and trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) with over 8 years of experience, I help high-functioning women, especially women of color, heal, unlearn, and reimagine what their lives can look like when they center themselves.

As a coach, I wanted to reach more women on this same path so I created the BRICK RELEASE™ Method and Becoming Her™ 8 week group coaching program, to blend evidence-based tools, with body and identity-shifting coaching to help more women like us move from over-functioning to inner freedom.
